The 2023 Eagles Girls Flag Football Championships marked another historic day in the growth of girls flag football in the Garden State. With the support of the Philadelphia Eagles, the West Jersey Football League launched a 14-team girls flag football league this spring in South Jersey. Mastery High School of Camden, Kingsway, Cedar Creek, and Mainland represented the Tri-County Conference and the Cape-Atlantic League in the event at the NovaCare Complex, culminating South Jersey’s first full season of girls flag football. Mastery High School of Camden defeated Cedar Creek to win the inaugural NJ championship as the Lady Warriors continue to blaze the trail for South Jersey girls flag football.
