Pennington 2 Montclair Kimberley 1 | Prep “B” Tournament Final
For the first time in program history, Pennington (15-2) has won a field hockey state championship, defeating Montclair Kimberley (13-8). MKA had previously beaten the Red Hawks in last year’s Prep “B” Final and the 2023 Prep “A” Final. Louisville commit Genevieve Vallieres recorded her 31st goal of the season along with an assist, while freshman Clara Meccage — the younger sister of Milwaukee Brewers prospect and Pennington alumni Bryce Meccage — notched her 20th goal in what has been a stellar freshman season.
