Pennington 6 Hun 1 | Prep “A” Final

Kubah Appiah’s hat trick was the driving force in the Red Hawks’ bid to secure their first ever championship repeat in the NJISAA Prep A soccer tournament. Pennington (16-1) had an offensive outburst which also included goals from Tomas Ludvik, Liam Baigun and Alvaro Carnier-Cozar. This tournament was won 26 times by St. Benedict’s Prep, however the Gray Bees are now an NJSIAA-member school and no longer will play in the Prep A tournament. For Pennington, it was their third all-time championship win. Hun (13-4-2) got their lone goal from Diego Pena via a first half penalty kick.
