The rain came down in Freehold but it didn’t slow down the Patriots from securing a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. JSZ has the highlights!

Zach Orrico had a goal and an assist to give Freehold Township a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. On a rainy day in Freehold, all of the scoring came late in the first half. Zach Orrico took a feed from Shane O’Malley at the end line to put the Patriots in front 1-0 with 6:21 to go in the half. Wall responded just 54 seconds later on Jake Pepe goal to draw even. At the two minute mark, Orrico made a sensational play at the end line to keep the ball in and passed over to Joe Lardaro for what proved to be the game-winner. Freehold Township will take on Colts Neck with a spot in the SCT final on the line this Saturday night at Shore Regional:
