Old Bridge 2 Monroe 0 (Boys)
No. 2 Old Bridge (7-0) remains undefeated on the year following a 2-0 win over GMC Red rival Monroe (3-2). The Knights trailing 10-8 to begin would eventually take the first set 25-17. In the second Old Bridge went ahead by as much as 10 as senior Massimo Roco finished with 10 kills, junior Troy Markle had 24 assists. After having an undefeated season and a five-peat disrupted in the last year’s State Championship loss, The Knights are one of the most dangerous teams to watch for in the postseason.
