Notre Dame freshman Hannah Hidalgo returned home for a big honor from her alma mater Paul VI High School on Friday night. Paul VI unveiled a banner during halftime of the Eagles’ win over Delran recognizing Hidalgo as the first 2,000-point scorer in school history and the leading scorer for both the girls and boys programs. Hidalgo has made an instant impact in South Bend for the Fighting Irish early in her freshman season. The former McDonald’s All-American has led the Irish to a 9-1 record while leading the ACC in points and steals per game.
