Jackson Vaughn made an immediate impact in his freshman year at Bergen Catholic and the offers have been rolling in over the past two years. After picking up over 50 offers, Vaughn narrowed his final five to Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, Miami and Notre Dame. In front of a large crowd at the Prudential Lounge in Newark, Vaughn put on the hat of the Fighting Irish and making his commitment to Notre Dame.
Vaughn reclassified from 2028 to 2027 and is the #105 national recruit. He has 14.5 sacks and 21.5 tackles for loss in two seasons at Bergen Catholic. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis takes us to Newark for the ceremony and hear from Vaughn about chooing the Fighting Irish.
Vaughn is the third NJ class of 2027 recruit to commit to Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame joining St. Peter’s Prep offensive lineman Olu Olubobola and Don Bosco Prep defensive lineman Aidan O’Neil.
