It may have gone down to the wire, but North Jersey prevailed in thrilling fashion to top South Jersey, 24-23, in the annual Phil Simms North South All-Star Classic Monday night at Kean University.
Bayonne tailback Azhaun Dingle was named the North’s offensive MVP after scoring two second-half touchdowns and amassing 92 yards on 11 carries.
The win came after North Jersey surrendered losses in back-to-back years to South Jersey.
