Don Bosco Prep and Morristown-Beard boys hockey clashed on Thursday night in a top-5 tilt at Mennen Arena! Watch all the highlights and post-game sound from this huge pre-cup season matchup.

Don Bosco Prep 4 Morristown-Beard 2

No. 3 Don Bosco Prep hockey went into Thursday’s matchup against unbeaten No. 4 Morristown-Beard at risk of losing two straight in-state games after their loss to St. Joe’s (Mont.) in the Bergen County Tournament final two weeks ago. The Ironmen responded in a big way with a 4-2 road victory over the Crimson!

Down 1-0 after a John Gonnella first period goal, Bosco tied it up with a Preston Ferro power play goal early in the second. Gonnella answered back with another late in the period, but Ryan Murphy answered on another power play to make it 2-2 at the end of two. A Kyle Delaney even-strength goal and a Murphy empty-netter clinched the game for the Ironmen in the third.

Don Bosco is now 14-3-1 while Morristown-Beard falls to 15-1-1.
