Don Bosco Prep 9 Chatham 8 (2OT)

In need of a spark after losing two games in a row, including one to unranked Northern Highlands on Saturday, No. 10 Don Bosco Prep lacrosse ended their skid in the most thrilling fashion possible on Tuesday with a 9-8 double overtime win over No. 5 Chatham.

The Ironmen were down 5-2 in the second quarter, but then they had a surge starting by a 40+ yard goal from goaltender Brody Corey, marking the first of his career. John Devir scored the first two of his three goals to make it 5-4 and, with the score 6-6, Brady Kushner scored to give Bosco a 7-6 lead into the half. Dash Lane put one in the net early in the third to make it 8-6, but Michigan commit Shep Boyd scored his third and fourth goals of the game to tie it up at 8 late in the quarter. This would be the score going into the eventual overtime, but the first four minutes were not enough. With 90 seconds left in the second OT, Kushner scored his second goal to cap off a thrilling win.
