It’ll be hard to imagine New Jersey high school girls soccer without Emily Mason. The 2019-2020 Gatorade National Player of the Year closed out her career at Hunterdon Central just over a month ago, and now that this chapter of her career has concluded, Mason has her sights set on being in the upper echelon of women’s soccer going forward.

Mason headlines Rutgers’ incoming Class of 2021 signees and has also made a name as one of the youngest players on the Under-20 U.S. Women’s National soccer team. Mason’s name could be familiar to soccer fans around the country if she keeps working to her goal leading up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
