Monmouth takes 42nd All-Shore Gridiron Classic

The longest running football All-Star game in the garden state was worth the wait. After a day of postponement due to weather the 42nd Annual All-Shore Gridiron Classic kicked off with an opening ceremony featuring former New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers superstar, Plaxico Burress. From there Monmouth would control the tempo for the rest of the evening. Long Branch duo Marc Dennis and Matt Clark would start with a nine yard passing touchdown for an opening drive score. Dennis would then find Ocean Township’s Alex Bryant on another short pass to help Monmouth eventually go ahead 21-0 at the half. Quarterback Marc Dennis and Manalapan Linebacker Da’Shaun Taylor would take home MVP honors. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
