The 2024 football season has finally come to a close and it’s time to recognize the best in New Jersey. From the Zoneman Trophy to the entire All-Zone team – meet the best football players that the Garden State has to offer in our full postseason award breakdown.
2024 Zoneman Trophy Winner: Lotzeir Brooks, Millville
For the second time in the last four years, the Zoneman Trophy returns to the Holly City.
Millville’s two-way star Lotzeir Brooks capped off one of the greatest careers in New Jersey high school football with another sensation season for the Thunderbolts. Brooks hauled in 56 catches for 1,260 yards and scored 19 total touchdown to help the Bolts win their third sectional title in the last four years. In the process, the Alabama commit set NJ’s records for career receiving yards (4,615) and receiving touchdowns (67). The All-American had three-straight 1,000 yard seasons as a receiver, topped double-digit touchdowns in each of his four varsity seasons, and was a lockdown defender in the secondary. He is the 2024 Zoneman Trophy Winner.

JSZ’s ballot included five seniors, all of whom are committed to Power 4 programs. Our team collected 73 total ballots (63 coaches and 10 media) in an equal distribution across the entire state. Ballots from each of New Jersey’s football conferences were included.
