Mater Dei Prep is the ultimate comeback story. With the school nearly closing down due to a financial deficit just 2 years ago, the community and athletic programs have climbed to the pinnacle of Shore Conference and New Jersey athletics. The Seraph’s football team recorded a perfect 12-0 season in 2016, culminating with the school’s first ever Non-Public Group 2 State Title. Central Michigan bound Quarterback George Pearson and veteran utility player Kyle Devaney return to lead a young but talented Mater Dei Prep team in 2017.
