Ben Roy has been the catalyst on one of Jew Jersey’s most successful public teams over the last three years. The Manasquan point guard has given a verbal commitment to play Division I basketball in the Patriot League for Boston University. Roy made the announcement on his Instagram:

Roy has been part of a Manasquan team that has a 43-1 record over the past two years. In 2020, the Warriors had their season end prior to the state semifinals due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, the Warriors played a rugged schedule and ran the table highlighted by a Shore Conference championship win over Marlboro. Roy has over 1,000 career points despite two shortened seasons and has held his own against some of New Jersey’s top competition. Watch Roy’s dynamic junior year highlight reel:
