Red Bank Regional wide receiver Sadiq Palmer picked up his first major offer from Syracuse and the Shore Sports Zone All-Zoner in both football and basketball wasted little time in making a decision on his college plans. Palmer has given a verbal commitment to play for head coach Scott Shafer as first reported by CuseNation.com.
Palmer was 4th in the Shore Conference in receiving with 36 catches for 748 yards and 6 TD catches averaging 20.77 yards a catch. At 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, Palmer has a big frame and great speed. The Orange finished 3-9 in 2014 and has three New Jersey products on the roster. Syracuse has also offered Saint John Vianney quarterback Anthony Brown.
