From Shore Sports Zone to the Worldwide Leader in Sports! SSZ’s highlight of the Volk twins unusual TD pass puts Colts Neck on ESPN SportsCenter
Colts Neck scored its first win of the season with a 13-0 home victory against Wall Township. It turned out to make headlines well beyond the Shore Conference. The Cougars first score of the game featured quarterback Hayden Volk throw a ball to the end zone for his twin brother Matt. When the ball bounced around towards the ground, Matt Volk was able to make a catch after the ball came off of his foot. Shore Sports Zone sent the clip to ESPN and the highlight was the #9 play on ESPN’s Top 10 for Saturday, October 31st. Watch the clip here:
This is the second time a Shore Sports Zone highlight has made it on ESPN’s Top 10. Freehold Township’s Julian Kislin was the #1 Play after his incredible hockey assist to Max Halvorsen.
