Long Branch will have a hard time matching the drama and excitement of 2017. The Green Wave won the Central Jersey Group 4 title after a successful 2-point conversion in overtime to beat Freehold Boro 43-42 at Rutgers. A lot of key cogs from that championship team are back including 1400 yard rusher Jermaine Corbett, 131 tackle linebacker Luke Arnold and two-way lineman Kevin “Big Country” Cerruti.
