Westfield 13 Bernards 8 | Kirst Cup Semifinal

A career day from Cody Lam helped the Blue Devils serve up a big win against the Mountaineers. Lam, a Princeton commit, scored seven times Thursday night to power a victory for third-seeded Westfield (16-5). That scoring output matches a career high for Lam, who scored seven goals against Montclair in his sophomore season. Second-seeded Bernards (21-3) saw a spectacular season come to an end after winning their first-ever Group 1 state championship last week. Westfield will face top-seeded Summit in the Kirst Cup Final, set for Saturday, June 15th at 1 p.m. on the campus of Kean University.
