It had the look of any other girls lacrosse showcase event.  Over 40 teams playing throughout the day against some of the top talent in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.  But there were no college coaches on hand.  T3 Lacrosse hosted the Play to Win Tournament to benefit the Play for Pay Foundation.  Founded by T3 Shore coach Chris Raichle, the organization provides IPads, IPods and other presents distributed at children’s hospitals throughout the state.  Raichle’s daughter, Payton, who spent extensive time in the hospital battling epilepsy is the inspiration for the foundation.   This year’s tournament’s proceeds will also go to help Katie King, a 4th grader from Basking Ridge who is part of the T3 family who was diagnosed with cancer this summer.  Jersey Sports Zone was at the Play to Win Tournament on October 15 at the Atlantic Club in Manasquan:

T3 Lacrosse has a footprint across the entire state for girls lacrosse and has produced hundreds of college players and many of the top players on the New Jersey high school lacrosse scene.  Visit playforpayton.com to learn more about the Foundation and the impact they are having.
