Old Tappan ace Alex Kranzler has emerged as one of the top arms in North Jersey throughout the month of April.

His final start this month was arguably his best. Kranzler threw a 98-pitch complete game, had 12 strikeouts and allowed only one walk and one earned run in a 5-1 win over Ramapo (7-7). The Golden Knights (12-2) exploded for four runs in the third inning, highlighted by a two-run HR from Elan Ofeck, and wouldn’t look back from there.

Kranzler has been spectacular this month. The junior University of Missouri commit holds a 5-0 record with a 1.2 ERA and 54 strikeouts across six starts.
