St. Peter’s Prep is sending another one of their top-shelf defensive line talents to a Power Five program.
KJ Miles, an interior defensive lineman for the Marauders, celebrated his Independence Day by giving a verbal commitment to play at Georgia Tech.
Miles – who stands at 6-3 and 285 pounds – was a physical, overpowering force for St. Peter’s Prep last season. Miles collected 28 tackles and 3.5 sacks while lining up against some of the top competition in North Jersey a season ago.
The commitment comes as no surprise to those inside the Marauders’ locker room. Miles is just the latest product from the Jersey City private school to commit to a Power Five program. Class of 2021 grad George Rooks signed with Michigan and both Jayson and Justin Ademilola are expected to see increased roles at Notre Dame this upcoming season.
