Mount St. Dominic junior pitcher Ava Kelshaw had a career day on Monday, tossing her second career no-hitter and hitting a solo home run in the No. 6 Lions’ 7-0 win over No. 4 Columbia. The Michigan commit had nine strikeouts on the afternoon and allowed just one baserunner off of a 4th inning error. Her homer came in the bottom of the 4th to make it a 5-0 ballgame.

Junior Isabella Iannitelli was the Lions’ hottest bat, going 2-3 for four RBIs and a 4th-inning three-run home run. Kaylan Bartolozzi added the other two runs with a two-RBI double in the 5th. This win marks MSD’s fifth win in a row and snaps Columbia’s 10-game winning streak.
