CBA’s Zach Wagnon Wins JSZ’s 2022 Hockey Player of the Year

Zach Wagnon’s senior season was dominant from start to finish. The top forward at Christian Brothers Academy, Wagnon accumulated 24 goals and a staggering 50 assists while leading the Colts to a near-perfect year. The Yale University commit – who was named the Gordon Conference MVP – helped lead CBA to a 27-0-3 record along with a Gordon Cup championship along with a Non-Public state title. Wagnon was unanimously selected by JSZ’s staff as this year’s winner.

JSZ’s Jay Cook profiles the standout forward:

Morristown-Beard’s Leah Stecker Wins JSZ’s 2022 Girls Hockey Player of the Year

Morristown-Beard was once again crowned the number one Girls Ice Hockey team in New Jersey this past season and that was thanks in large part to senior leader Leah Stecker. The Penn State commit finished the year with 19 goals and eclipsed the 100 point mark in her Crimson career. Stecker exits high school with 67 goals total and the only two girls ice hockey state titles to be played in NJ’s history so far. JSZ is proud to announce Stecker as our inaugural winner of the award.

JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the story:
