Coronavirus has brought the world to a screeching halt at the moment, and that includes high school sports in the Garden State. JSZ is spotlighting prominent senior athletes who are waiting and hoping to take the field again this spring. Our mission is to tell their stories, and share how they’re trying to stay ready, both physically and mentally.
Southern Regional senior Cade Johnson has 88 career goals and is still holding out hope that he’ll get a chance to play with the Rams and reach the 100 goal mark. Johnson isn’t the only person in his house anxious to play with younger sister Rylee on the Rams girls lacrosse team that is coached by mom Lori. Cade is set to play college lacrosse at Chestnut Hill but hopes he gets to put the Southern uniform on one more time.
