Coronavirus has brought the world to a screeching halt at the moment, and that includes high school sports in the Garden State. JSZ is spotlighting prominent senior athletes who are waiting and hoping to take the field again this spring. Our mission is to tell their stories, and share how they’re trying to stay ready, both physically and mentally. JSZ’s Senior Spotlight series continues as we talk to outstanding spring athletes from around the state. We visit with RBC football and lacrosse standout Jack Zenkert

There’s a lot of athletes who are doing their best to be patient and hoping that there are high school games to play in June.  Everyone in the area is anxious to return and at the head of the list are high school senior spring athletes. Red Bank Catholic’s Jack Zenkert is the top returning scorer in the Shore Conference after a 66 goal junior year.  The senior is hoping that he’ll get to take the field in his senior year.
