Jersey Shore 8 Tri-Cape 1 | Carpenter Cup Classic Final

Jersey Shore scored early and often on their way to winning their first Carpenter Cup Classic title since 2017 and sixth title in tournament history. Jackson Memorial’s Charlie Meglio and Red Bank Catholic’s Frank Scrivanic got things started with back-to-back home runs and combined to drive in four runs in the win. Red Bank Regional’s Nate Ruth threw a pair of scoreless innings and was named the tournament MVP. Highland’s Robert Carfagno drove in a run in the loss for two-time defending champion Tri-Cape.
