Jayden Hodge was a St. Rose Purple Rose.  Now he’s set to wear purple in the Big Ten.  Hodge has given his verbal commitment to play at Northwestern University.   The 4-star prospect is the #64 national recruit in the class of 2026. Hodge chose the Wildcats over Georgetown, Mississippi State and Virginia.  Hodge and his older brother Matt (currently at Villanova) came to Belmar from Belgium where they had a close connection with St. Rose head coach Brian Lynch, who is now back coaching his alma mater at Christian Brothers Academy.

Hodge will play his senior season at Monteverde Academy in Florida for the renowned national prep power. He averaged 21.1 points per game and 6.5 rebounds for St. Rose in his junior season.  In all, Hodge was part of two Shore Conference championships and a state title and number one overall ranking in 2024.
