After an arduous journey that spanned nearly two years, all Jack Silver wanted was to return to the mound.

That return was everything he could have dreamed of, and more.

Silver, a senior at Pascack Hills High School, made an inspirational return to the pitcher’s mound on Monday, May 23 when he took to the hill for his first career varsity pitching start.

That’s special because silver is a cancer survivor who fought hard to get back to play the game he loves.
