It will be an all-NJ final for the Phillies Carpenter Cup

Getting to live out your childhood dream of playing in the Majors doesn’t come true for many, but for the four remaining teams of the 32nd Annual Carpenter Cup Classic they got to take the field Saturday at Citizens Bank Park. The semifinal matchup between Burlington County and Jersey Shore was headlined by a six run fourth inning that included a 2 run home run from Duke bound Senior Jake Topolski of Lenape that would ultimately send ‘Burlco’ back to the championship game as they try to claim the title for the first time since 2012. Olympic-Colonial 10 Delaware North 6

Sky Duff went 2 for 3 with a triple, a homer and 3 RBI’s to lead Olympic-Colonial into the Carpenter Cup finals.  Olympic-Colonial used a five-run 9th inning to reach the championship game.  SNJ Today’s Mike Frankel has the highlights from the home of the Philadelphia Phillies:
