Gill St. Bernard’s 7 Montclair Kimberley Academy 3 | Prep B Tournament Final

Sophomore shortstop Jack Markovich was on an offensive tear Thursday night that helped fuel the Knights to a championship. Markovich went 3-4 at the dish for fifth-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s (8-8-1) and was only a double shy of hitting for the cycle. He also knocked in a pair of runs and scored three times in the win. Tim Park, Joey Dwek and Dylan Sempervive all each recorded an RBI in the win. Alesandro Sozio clobbered a two-run triple four seventh-seed MKA (6-13) in the loss.
