Pascack Valley’s Jeff Jasper has been a fixture on the New Jersey high school basketball scene since 1973. After a 2-14 season to start his career, it didn’t take long for the Indians to become one of New Jersey’s most successful programs with seven Bergen County titles, 13 sectional championships and six state crowns. Jasper became the first New Jersey girls basketball coach with 1000 career wins following a 73-25 win at home over Northern Highlands. Jasper and Bob Hurley of Saint Anthony’s are the only two coaches in state history with 1000 wins.
