The Hillside Comets’ football program has soared to new heights in the last few seasons — intertwined with that championship success has been a core group of future Division I players.

The most recent player to give a verbal commitment to a D-I program is Class of 2020 athlete Nahree Biggins, a 6’1, 170 lb. product who announced May 30 he intends to sign his NLI with Temple University.

Biggins is ranked as the No. 32 prospect in New Jersey’s Class of 2020, according to 247Sports.

Watch JSZ’s highlight reel of Biggins’ junior year:

Biggins was a menace anytime he was near the rock during his junior year. Through two full varsity seasons, he’s compiled 1,877 scrimmage yards with 23 touchdowns in time at running back and wide receiver. Biggins also started at cornerback in 2018 and collected 41 tackles, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.

Biggins is among the elite c/o 2020 New Jersey players and will figure to be the main attraction in Hillside’s explosive offense. The Comets have won back to back sectional championships and are a combined 20-4 over those two seasons.
