As the high school sports calendar year has wrapped up and graduations have taken center stage to close out the month of June, Hillsborough’s Will Dixon ended his senior year on a high note with a commitment to play football for West Virginia University. Dixon was originally committed to the University of Akron but Covid giving players an extra year of illegibility made no room on the depth chart. The six foot five tight end was then scheduled to attend Blair Academy in the Fall, but received a slew of offers in recent weeks. Will Dixon helped lead the Raiders to a perfect 13-0 season capped off with a Central/South Group 5 Championship, he had 20 catches for 269 yards and four touchdowns in 2021.
