North Hunterdon 8 Phillipsburg 5 (11 Innings) | HWS Tournament Final

Nick Hernandez now has a story he can tell his kids and grandchildren about years down the road. Facing a 2-0 count in the bottom of the 11th inning, Hernandez demolished a fastball in a sequence that turned out to change the game. Hernandez clobbered a walk-off three run home run that proved to be the difference for the Lions in their quest to win the HWS Tournament for the first time since 2016. Hernandez was the difference in the game with 3 RBI in the win. North Hunterdon (18-5) played their best when their collective backs were up against the wall.
