The Blue Devils seized control with an 18-0 run in the second quarter, but had to fend off a late rally to reach the semifinals for the first time in program history. Jenna Vivadelli led the way with a game-high 20 points, 12 of which came during the big second quarter surge. Alivia Ellis finished with nine points to round out a balanced effort from fifth-seeded Hammonton (20-3). Reilly Nagle went for a team-high 13 points, while Callie Smith added 11 points in the loss for fourth-seeded Mainland (16-8). Hammonton advances to face top-seed and defending champion Middle Township next Wednesday.
