We’ve got a state ranked showdown on opening day in the Shore Conference.  Notre Dame commit Lily Hagan was outstanding in the circle in the Caseys win over Middletown North.  Watch all the highlights from Red Bank!

Lily Hagan pitched a 2-hitter with 12 strikeouts and Nicole Knox broke a 2-2 tie with a solo homer in the third that proved to be the game winner to give the 8th ranked Caseys (1-0) an opening day win over #14 Middletown North.  .  Jayden Kane had a two run homer for the Caseys with Mackenna Savage adding an RBI single and Grace Lombardi had a two run single to cap off a three run fifth inning.  Madilynn Boyce had 15 strikeouts for the Lions (0-1).
