Haddon Heights junior Sophia Bordi made headlines on Tuesday by announcing her commitment to softball powerhouse and three-time defending national champion Oklahoma. The reigning Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year is the top-ranked player in the class of 2025, and has helped to lead the Garnets to back-to-back Group 2 state championships. Bordi racked up 581 strikeouts and holds a career 0.08 ERA through her first two seasons with the Garnets, who won the final Tournament of Champions title in 2022. The junior also a .349 batting average, 19 home runs, and 47 RBI in her career.
