The latest chapter of this great South Jersey rivalry did not disappoint as the top-ranked Rams outlasted the sixth-ranked Hermits in extra innings. Miami signee Tate DeRias delivered the go-ahead RBI, and tossed 6 1/3 shutout innings with 13 strikeouts on the mound. Immaculata commit Evan Brasberger and Sal Marziani completed the shutout out of the bullpen for Gloucester Catholic (11-0). Northwestern commit Matt Kouser went seven strong innings, allowing no runs and racking up five strikeouts for St. Augustine (10-2).
