Gloucester Catholic 7 Pope John 4 | Non-Public “B” State Final
The Rams dug out of an early hole with a five-run fourth inning, then fended off a late rally from the Lions to secure a third-straight Non-Public “B” state championship. East Carolina commit Braeden Lipoff led the way with two RBIs in the victory. Henry Pancoast, Jude Morgan, Jack Mustaro, and Auburn commit Guy Lynam picked up RBIs in the big inning for Gloucester Catholic (24-3). Will Ryan, Jack Portman, and Brody O’Hara drove in runs in the loss for Pope John (13-14). Gloucester Catholic closes out another successful spring by bringing home the program’s 22nd state title.
