St. Joe’s Mont. 43 Bergen Catholic 42 (OT) | Super Football Conference

What happened Saturday afternoon in Oradell will go down as one of the single-most thrilling, exciting, unforgettable high school football games in recent memory.

After a red-hot start and then getting pushed into overtime, the Green Knights delivered with the game on the line to take out the Crusaders in a wild finish. St. Joe’s Mont. (6-2) got a monster performance from senior quarterback Mason Geis and a heroic effort from senior Nate Bailey on the final play of the game to get the win. Bailey powered in the walk-off two-point conversion to end it. Geis was nearly flawless with 275 yards through the air and four touchdown passes.

Bergen Catholic (6-2) overcame a slow start to eventually rattle off 35 unanswered points in the second half while taking the first lead in overtime. Najee Calhoun had his best game of the year, handling 25 carries for 108 yards and a trio of scores.
