Saint Rose’s Kat Phipps scores 42 points in a showcase game to earn the first girls edition of Monmouth Building Center Game Balls

Kat Phipps has won the first Monmouth Building Center Girls Game Ball after a 42 point performance against St. Mary’s of Long Island on Saturday.  Phipps was presented with the Game Ball following the Purple Roses 70-20 win at Mater Dei.  The Division I commit to St. Francis (NY) has 66 three pointers during the Purple Roses 11-0 start to the season.

Phipps received a staggering 9,671 votes in a two day span on Shore Sports Zone.  A reminder that we post the top performers each week during high school basketball on Sunday and keep the voting open until Tuesday at 4:00 pm.  Rumson-Fair Haven’s Brendan Barry won the first SSZ Boys Game Ball.
