Freshman Giraud Notches Season High’s

Nila Giraud’s fourth double-double of the season was her most productive game to date in her freshman campaign. Giraud went off with a season-best 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead Montclair Immaculate past Livingston in the first round of the Essex County Tournament. Giraud accounted for over 87 percent of the vote to win the Week 5 North Jersey Game Ball.

Roche’s Double-Double Helps Westwood Top Indian Hills

Connor Roche has logged four double-doubles so far in the 2021-2022 basketball season and one of those came on Jan. 25 against fellow Big North Conference opponent, Indian Hills. Roche came through with 28 points and 12 rebounds in an 59-37 win over the Braves. He collected 10,175 votes to win the honor.

Lombardi Lifts Panthers with 28 Point Outing

Alfonso Lombardi is the leading scorer for Cedar Grove this season and was the catalyst for the Panthers’ blowout win against Technology on Feb. 3. Lombardi went for 28 points – which at that time was a season-high – in a 51-32 win. Over 13,400 votes were cast for Lombardi to win the weekly award.
