Madilynn Boyce was just a young middle school pitcher when Malori Bell recorded her 1,000th career strikeout on her senior day back in 2019.
Six years later, Bell was there to return the favor, celebrating Boyce’s 1,000th strikeout on her own senior day. Talk about a full circle moment.
Boyce became the 26th player in New Jersey history to reach that incredible milestone and the Lions now join Cedar Grove (Mia Faieta, Cayce Kavakich) as the only schools in state history to have multiple 1,000 strikeout pitchers.
