Every month, SSZ showcases an outstanding athlete who trains at Reach Your Potential Training.  With the start of the high school lacrosse state playoffs, we profile Rumson-Fair Haven midfielder Jillian Swikart, who looks to close out her high school career with a state championship

Jillian Swikart is having a senior year to remember.  It started in November when she signed a national letter of intent to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.  In the winter, she was the team manager for the RFH boys basketball team, who shocked the Shore by winning the Shore Conference Tournament as a #11 seed.  Swikart then earned another Shore Conference title on the field, as she scored 7 goals in RFH’s win over Shore in the girls lacrosse Shore Conference final at Monmouth University.

The Lady Bulldogs are the top seed in South Jersey Group 2 and open the post-season against Ewing at home.  Jillian has been a major offensive presence increasing her production from 26 goals in her junior campaign to 46 goals this season.  She has scored in every single RFH game this year and has added 24 assists for the 18-1 Lady Bulldogs.  Swikart plans on majoring in business when she arrives in Philadelphia to being her college career at Villanova.
