Jesse Barbera threw an eight-inning complete game and Eastern scored three runs in the 8th inning to win the 45th annual Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic on its home field despite being the away team. Eastern ends Saint Augustine Prep’s 13 game win streak, but the Hermits are still in the hunt for a state championship.
