DePaul Catholic has proven to be one of the most consistent programs — not only in North Jersey, but the entire state — over the past decade. But the Spartans now find themselves in unfamiliar territory coming into 2019.
Last season was the first since 2012 that DePaul Catholic wasn’t in a sectional championship game — but you can bet the Spartans are gunning for a title berth this year.
DePaul Catholic will be led by four senior captains in 2019: TE/OLB Charles Finley, OL/DL Eddie Bierals, WR/DB Teddy Afful and RB/FS Sean Kelly. They also welcome junior QB Andrew Butler into the huddle.
