New Jersey is known for its immense lacrosse talent and it seems that the national evaluators are catching on as well.

Delbarton attackman Michael Long became the second Garden State player to be named as a roster member for Under Armour’s 2019 All-American Game. The announcement, which was the second installment of four, came earlier this week.

Long, committed to Cornell University, has been a key scorer for the Green Wave over his last three seasons. As a junior last year, he collected a career-high 51 points on 30 goals and 21 assists. Long has been off to a hot start in 2019, too, as he’s already on pace to top those numbers. He has 11 goals and 18 assists this season as Delbarton sits at 5-2.

Long now joins Manasquan attackman and Penn State commit Canyon Birch as New Jersey’s two representatives to the team so far.
