The Green Wave won five of the first seven matches and held off a comeback attempt from the #2 team in the latest FloWrestling national rankings to score one of the biggest wins in program history.  Ryan DeGeorge delivered a pin at 144 to give Delbarton a big six points followed by a 4-1 decision by Trevor Jones at 157 and a tech fall from Penn State commit Jayden James at 165 to give the Green Wave a 31-12 lead with four matches to go.  Faith Christian’s upper weight wrestlers are all ranked top five nationally and the Lions stormed back.  A pin by Ohio State commit Nick Singer at 175 followed by a 2-1 decision at 190 got Faith Christian within 10 points with two matches to go.  The Green Wave’s Brody Ismael and Auggie Moser needed to avoid pinfalls to preserve the victory and that’s exactly what they did.
