A big time matchup on Sunday from Fleury Field.  Delbarton and Gloucester Catholic showed why they are two of New Jersey’s best on the diamond.  Check out all the highlights rom the Mid-Atlantic Baseball championship game!

Delbarton 7 Gloucester Catholic 5 | Mid-Atlantic Baseball Challenge Final

Sal Garcia hit a mammoth two run homer in the 7th inning to give Delbarton a 7-1 lead and that blast proved to be the difference as the Green Wave are able to survive a four run Gloucester Catholic rally to win the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Challenge.  Noah Morales pitched five strong innings to pick up the win as Delbarton (8-2) put four runs on the board in the fourth to take the lead.  Lorenzo Maselli had two hits including a solo homer to make it 5-1 and Garcia finished the three game tournament with five hits and five RBI’s.  Gloucester Catholic (7-3) got two hits and two RBI’s from Braeden Lipoff.
